🥋 Parents’ Karate Homework Charter
As parents and guardians, we play an important role in supporting our children’s karate journey both inside and outside the dojo. This charter sets out our commitment to helping our children complete their karate homework and build strong habits of practice, respect, and self-discipline.
Our Commitments
✅ Encouragement
I will encourage my child to complete their karate homework with a positive attitude, reminding them that practice at home helps them improve and progress.
✅ Time & Space
I will help my child find time in their weekly routine and provide a safe, quiet space where they can practise.
✅ Supervision
I will take an interest in their karate homework by watching, listening, or asking questions – even if I don’t know karate myself.
✅ Respect & Effort
I will remind my child that karate homework is about effort and respect, not just about getting everything perfect.
✅ Consistency
I will help my child make karate a regular habit, understanding that small, steady steps lead to improvement.
✅ Partnership with the Club
I will communicate with instructors if my child is struggling or needs extra support.
